Ethel’s Vanilla Custard

Items Needed:

  • 12 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups sugar

  • 5 cups milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • nutmeg (optional)

Items Needed:

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.

  2. After fully blended, pour into a 8x13 glass baking dish. Lightly sprinkle top with nutmeg (optional).

  3. Place in a preheated 350º oven for 60 minutes, until nothing stick to a knife when inserted into the custard.

  4. Remove from oven when custard has fully set. Chill completely, cut and serve in squares.

  5. Refrigerate until served.
