Classic Deviled Eggs

Items Needed (for 12 deviled eggs):

  • 6 hard boiled eggs (large)

  • 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing

  • 1 Tablespoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon mustard (or honey mustard)

  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Remove shells from eggs*, and halve lengthwise with a knife.

  2. Carefully remove the yolks, and place in a medium bowl.

  3. Mash yolks with a fork, and add remaining ingredients. Mix well.

  4. Very carefully spoon mixture back into the egg white halves.

  5. Garnish with a light sprinkling of paprika (optional).

Enjoy!

*To boil eggs: Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with enough cold water that there’s 1 inch of water above the eggs. Heat on high until water begins to boil, then cover, remove from heat, and let sit for 12 minutes for large eggs.

Note: This recipe can be easily doubled to use one dozen eggs and make 24 deviled eggs.
